Mission
Building trusting relationships and a safe space for the LGBTQ community via entertainment, interactions, and educational opportunities. We will celebrate the history, creativity, and diversity of the LGBTQ community to promote understanding and acceptance in Northwoods Wisconsin.
Goals

Celebrate the history and the creativity of the LGBTQ community via entertaining events, such as documentary films, drag shows for all ages, family activities, live music, and food.

Educate the participants about the diversity of human sexuality and gender via educational programs, such as keynote speakers, panel discussions, and virtual presentations.

Promote self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-esteem, and mental health for the LGBTQ community via resources fair, networking, and educational activities.

Fundraise for Nicolet Rainbow Hodags Leadership Scholarships and queer youth programs.

Provide social and networking opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to make meaningful connection and feel a sense of belonging in the Northwoods community.
PBS Documentary Night: Wisconsin Pride
5 -7 pm, Friday, June 7
Nicolet College Theater
Join us for a free screening of Wisconsin Pride (documentary), followed by a facilitated community discussion. The film brings hidden LGBTQ+ stories forward, and reconsiders our state’s history in that light.
Popcorn will be provided!

Northwoods Pride Open Mic
Saturday, June 15th
Welcoming any professional or amateur musicians, or have open mics (poetry jam, dance, sing, instrument, stand-up comedy, etc), karaoke.
All volunteer-driven. No compensation.
Note: We may contact you for additional information for the sample of music/act that you'll be performing for the day.
